Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data konix.cz collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because the site does very little with your data: there is no analytics, no advertising and no profiling of any kind.
Operator of this website
KONIX STAVBY s.r.o.
Company ID (IČO): 24352896
E-mail: konix.stavby@gmail.com
What we collect
We collect only what you send us and the minimum our servers need to run safely.
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address, phone number (optional) and the message you write.
- Server logs: your IP address, browser identification and the time of the request, recorded automatically for security and troubleshooting.
- No cookies or scripts of advertising networks, analytics tools or social networks are used on this site.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We use the data from the contact form solely to read your enquiry and reply to it. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as it takes to deal with them, and afterwards for as long as we may need them to document the arrangement. Server logs are kept short-term. After that, data is deleted.
Who else processes it
We do not sell your data and do not pass it to anyone for their own purposes. To operate the website we rely on service providers acting on our instructions:
- Railway — application hosting.
- MongoDB Atlas — the database where enquiries are stored.
- Cloudflare R2 — storage of the photographs and videos shown on the site.
- Telegram — your enquiry is delivered as a notification to our internal team group so we can respond quickly.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of the providers listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer takes place under the safeguards permitted by the GDPR.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses only what is necessary for it to work. Nothing here tracks you across websites.
- A cookie remembering the language you selected.
- Local storage remembering whether you chose the light or dark theme.
- Session storage holding a sign-in token, used only by our own staff in the administration area.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, for restriction of processing, for portability, and you may object to processing. Write to the address above and we will respond.
If you believe we handle your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to reply to you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website changes. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
